Projections and light installations draw a great deal of attention and high public interest. Such an installation majestically lights up the night sky or emphasizes the tower’s contours against the city’s skyline.

On New Years eve Deutsche Funkturm has send New Year's greetings with a colorful, climate-friendly, digital fireworks display at their TV Tower Telemichel in Hamburg.

We supported the “Rhine Comet” installation on the Rhine Tower in Düsseldorf, for example. It was realized in 2016 for the 70-year anniversary celebration for the founding of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and, in 2017, in connection with the Tour de France. The light artist Klaus Gendrung designed the installation.

Deutsche Funkturm also actively supported several light artworks for the “Festival of Lights“ in Berlin. The visitors were actually able to “beam“ themselves onto Berlin’s TV Tower.
